Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)
Skilled Nominated Visa is point based visa under which skilled workers are nominated by state or territory Government. This visa allows skilled workers to live and work in Australia as permanent Residents. Under this visa, you have to check with state or territory government to seek your eligibility for nomination under a specific occupation. This visa requires lodgment of Expression of Interest (with Department of home affairs) which must include your nominated occupation.
If you are nominated by the state or territory government, you will get the invitation to apply the visa.
Minimum Visa requirements at the time of Invitation:
1. Must have a relevant occupation.
2. Must have positive skill assessment for the occupation.
3. Under 45 years of age.
4. Must meet minimum pass marks of 60 points.
5. Must have competent English as minimum.
6. Must be invited by Immigration to apply the visa.
7. Must be nominated by state or territory government.
