Skilled Recognized Graduate visa (subclass 476)
This visa allows recent engineering graduates of recognized institutions to gain up to 18 months of skilled work experience.
In the two years before you apply, you musthave completed one of the following qualifications in engineering:
Ø bachelors degree
Ø masters degree
Ø doctoral degree
Ø Post graduate diploma.
Your qualification must contain a major sequence of study or specialization in engineering, such as:
Ø civil engineering
Ø structural engineering
Ø chemical engineering
Ø environmental engineering
Ø electrical and electronics engineering
Ø mechanical, production and plant engineering
Ø Mining and material engineering.
To be eligible for this visa applicant:
1. Must be under 31 year of age.
2. Must have completed an Engineering degree at a recognized Institute in last 2 years.
3. Must not have been holder of subclass 476 or 485 visa
4. Must meet English language requirement.
Must meet health and character requirements.
